About
Backstory
Fipo'a was raised by his mother and seven older sisters (yikes) until the day he fell too deep into the Twelveswood; he'd have perished alone in the forest if not for the great luck of uniting with a broken-winged sylph not long after becoming separated. Aiding his to-be brother Nixia back to the Sylphlands, the Sylphs not only found the walking one to be useful, but also highly impressionable and happy to adapt to Sylvan tradition and value. With reuniting the boy with his family out of the question, given the state of the woods that long ago, Fipo'a was allowed to stay and grow as Fipoxia amongst the Sylphs.
Cycles after the Calamity, once the Warrior of Light had defeated the Lord of Levin and prosperity was returned to the grove, Fipoxia had grown to be a man. Be it more naturally engrained wander-lust or the inspiration of outsiders coming through Little Solace, the exposure to helpful but strange Wood Wailers, the brothers had heads filled with romanticism and concepts of great dramatic adventure. With the elder one's blessing, they set out together into the world, promising to collect and return with many stories once they'd seen all that was worth seeing.
Fi, though pigheadedly stubborn in few areas, is an otherwise easily impressed upon and mystified creature of a Keeper, whose exposure to the world of the races of man has wedged the essentially Sylph-raised Miqo'te into many uncomfortable and confusing positions. His deep desire to feel true belonging is upset by his strange misfitting shape of character, often leaving him torn on how to look, sound, and behave. Any grasp on the concept of self or real idenity has been lost to him ever since he was first separated from his family as a boy.
He spends a lot of time looking for who he is, and sand surfing.
